Welcome to DOCDASH ("we," "our," or "us"), provided by Sleeping Giant Marketing. By downloading, accessing, or using the DOCDASH mobile application (the "App") or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

DOCDASH is a document scanning, image enhancement, organization, and export application that allows users to:

• Capture, perspective-crop, enhance, and organize digital copies of physical documents.

• Import existing PDFs and image files for local editing and processing.

• Export documents into PDF, JPEG, and PNG formats.

• Optionally synchronize and back up documents to a secure cloud account using Google OAuth or Email authentication.

2. Privacy & On-Device Processing

Your privacy is fundamental to our service:

• By default, all documents and image processing take place locally on your device.

• We do not access or transmit your local documents unless you explicitly enable cloud synchronization.

• Our collection, use, and protection of user data are governed by our

  Privacy Policy.

3. User Accounts and Security

• Account Creation: You may use core features of DOCDASH without an account. Access to multi-device cloud synchronization requires creating an account via Google Sign-In or Email.

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• Account Deletion: You may delete your account and associated cloud data at any time through the App settings or by contacting

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain 100% ownership and copyright over all documents, images, scans, and notes you create, import, or store within DOCDASH ("User Content"). We claim no ownership rights over your User Content.

• License to Us: By enabling cloud synchronization, you grant us a strictly limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing backup and sync functionality to you.

• DOCDASH IP: The DOCDASH app, design, logos, UI assets, software code, algorithms, and branding are the exclusive property of Sleeping Giant Marketing and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use DOCDASH to:

1. Scan, store, or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing on third-party intellectual property, or defamatory.

2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the App.

3. Interfere with, disrupt, or bypass any security features or rate limits of the cloud sync service.

4. Use the App for automated bulk extraction or unauthorized commercial scraping.

6. Cloud Sync and Service Availability

• While we strive for 99.9% uptime for cloud backup services, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.

• You are encouraged to maintain independent backups of critical documents. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from hardware failure, network outage, or accidental local deletion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

DOCDASH is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements or operate error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sleeping Giant Marketing, Palash Bakshi, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or business goodwill) arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the cloud synchronization services at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive activities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Sleeping Giant Marketing, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a revision is material, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Continued use of DOCDASH after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
