Optional cloud backup is fully user-controlled and off by default. When enabled, all backups are end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device, ensuring zero cloud leakage. DOCDASH never holds encryption keys or accesses your backed-up data.

* Storage / Media Library (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES`): Used only when you choose to import existing photos or PDFs from your gallery or export PDF/JPEG files to your device.
